Im gonna be very honest with you. sis to sis. I dont give a damn about an apology from a person I dont know, nor do I care who they are, if they come foward, if they shut down a sub, if they dont, whatever. The punishment for this series of event that led for this person to do this, is the fact that they have to live with that truth for forever, their name is in goverment records and consequences will happen and no amount of "care" they have for this man will make up for it. as a full grown adult i have the discernment to wish them well and luck because I wouldnt want to be in their shoes but then again, this is not about any of us. c'est la vie
This isn't about you or me as individuals, it's about healing a movement in order to trust each other going forward. This is about strengthening the movement.
I'm not calling for any attacks or anything of the sort. I'm talking about what would help us move forward. I can't make a person take accountability. The damage is done. That person will likely never get that trust back.
But I don't expect this person to apologize. So, after we take some time to recover from our feelings, we can move on and rebuild from the rubble. My next article is on what we can actively do to help Luigi and both health and prison reform.
